Squirrels in the chimney/walls?

For a few weeks now, I have squirrels making noise intermittently in the chimney. Most of the noise they’re making is coming from the metal apparatus on the top of the chimney that keeps rain from falling down inside. Last night, I heard squeeking coming from around the base of the chimney. I wasn’t sure what type of animal it was, but when it was especially loud yesterday, I went outside and saw a squirrel’s tail sticking out from the top. They’re not actually IN the chimney–I think they’re between the outside of the fireplace/chimney and the siding (we have hardy plank). Is there something we can do to scare them away, or should I call a pest removal company?

Where can i buy a squirrel baffle?

i need a squirrel baffle – its normally made out of plastic, its cone or dome shaped and its put on top of a squirrel proof bird feeder ..so when the squirrel jumps from the top ..it will slip

but im having a lott of trouble finding the place where i could buy the squirrel baffle from? i live in canada toronto, richmond hill, I have tried home depot, zellers and no1 has a clue where they are ..If i could get many ideas from where i could buy the cone or dome shaped bird feeder roof (squirrel baffle) …it would be awesome :)

Looking for vintage handheld game. Squirrel tails controlled by flippers would bounce acorn bottom to top.?

This was a game I had in the 70′s. It was not electronic. The sides had flippers like a pinball machine and when you flipped them, the squirrel tails would flip an acorn to the top of the tree into a hole where it fall back down to the bottom. It was from the same era as the fisher price tv and the clock.

Help! Squirrel attacked me this morning~WHY?

I had just gotten out of my car early this morning and started to make my way across the driveway when I heard something like a cross between a cat mewing and hissing. I didn’t see anything, kept walking and all of a sudden a squirrel came rushing at me making these ugly noises and trying to bite me. I jumped on top of my car. The squirrel stayed on the edge of the driveway and whenever I attempted to get off the car, lunged at me. Within a minute or so, I had 7 squirrels around the car making horrible chatter and lunging at the car but never attempting to actually get onto it. I was scared out of my mind!

I have 4 large trees in front of my house that the squirrels hang out in apparently and now as soon as I try to leave out the front door, they race to the stoop!

I called animal care and control, but apparently they thought it was a joke and thentold me Chicago has no provisions for squirrel control.

Why are they doing this? I hate squirrels! How can I get rid of them?

Has anyone had squirrels and rats on top of their roof and the creatures chew their ceiling up?

I have several holes on my ceiling in my living room. The squirrels and mice seem to go back to the same corner and chew again and again. I live in brooklyn and I have thinking of getting an exterminator but I dont know how much it would be and if they would do a good job. Another thing is I never been up on my attic. Any ideas? Thanks.
