How much can I expect to find a .22 or .17 caliber rifle at a gun show for?

On March 14th, I plan on attending my first gun show at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Georgia. I know how much a new .17 and .22 caliber rifle is since I own multiple rifles in various calibers from .17HMR to .44 Remington Magnum. I have all the licensing and documentation required to own and fire a firearm in my area. What I want to ask his, how much could I expect to find a good quality .17 or .22 caliber rifle for? I plan on using them for backyard plinking, light pest control, say up to rabbit or squirrel, and as a cheaper firing range alternative to more expensive caliber rounds. I am not sure if it is a dealer show, a private owner show or a mixed show. Is it possible to do some bargaining? Or if I think the price is OK should I just buy it? Thanks.

If i can get my dad to get me a .22???

What are some good .22′s for hunting? [fox, coons, coyote, rabbit, squirrel, etc.]

I want a powerful one, but under $200. A good ,dependable, accurate, etc.

And it will be a stretch if i can even get the .22 so only answer .22 rifles please!

Hunting dog with low self esteem?

My tried and true hunting hound, Brutus the fearless Chihuahua, has suffered a traumatic experience. Rabbit hunting was great, sometimes he would chase the rabbit and sometimes the rabbit would chase him, but all was good. I was just breaking him into squirrel hunting when tragedy struck. He ran to flush a big Fox squirrel eating under a deer feeder. He was the pride of his breed with chest puffed out and tail fully erect, but then the squirrel did the unthinkable and did a false charge back at Brutus. This quite literally scared little big man and he seems to have lost his edge. Any of you experts out there know how to get Brutus’ Machismo back in order.
He looks pretty dejected in his “security” sweater.
When it comes to toy poodles, he’s a humper and not a fighter, so forget that one.
I called the “Dog whisperer” and he thinks I’m squirrely!!

What to do about my dog? He keeps catching small critters and it’s bringing me down. How can I stop it?

He is a sweet, lovable basset/beagle mix named Frank. He plays in the fenced back yard with my shih tzu/laso mix (Fred). He’s always chasing after squirrels, birds, and a rabbit here and there. He never catches them because he has super short legs (it’s kind of funny looking)-until recently, that is. In Feb. he caught a squirrel and just mauled it. Blood everywhere. I don’t particulary care for squirrels, but I love animals for the most part and this was really sad. I felt so bad for the squirrel. Well, now when I was on the phone, I heard a weird squeaking noise in the back yard. Didn’t think too much about it. Got off the phone to find out Frank caught and killed a baby bunny. Not real small, but definately not full grown. They have made a den under a wood pile in my neighbor’s yard and run past Frank frequently on the other side of the fence. I KNOW it’s in his nature to hunt, but it’s just so upsetting. What can I do to keep the little critters out?http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=146152308&albumID=2679488&imageID=22365229

Looking for a good handgun for hunting.?

Mostly interested in something to accompany me on squirrel or rabbit hunting trips. Not looking to break the bank. Doesn’t matter to me if it is a revolver not. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Is there any truth to the belief that if a mother bird, rabbit etc…?

Is there any truth to the belief that if a mother bird or other animal smells human on its baby, it will kill it? The reason I ask is because none of these animals, i.e., birds, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks seem to have a problem with my hands touching the food I put out for them in my feeders.

Did this idea come from the fact that someone may have put a baby bird back into a nest it had been kicked out of to begin with?

What is the best airgun for under $300?

The purpose is small game pest control/hunting(squirrel, chipmunk, starling, rabbit) I prefer rifles. The range would be 20-60 yrds
