Hey, i shot a squirrels nest and saw one jump out and didnt see it again. i shot into the nest multiple times before it jumped out. then later i shot the nest to see if it was back and nothing came out.
do squirrels come back? if so how long does it take
should i sit in a tree or on the ground?
for how long in one place?
if i kill one and want to eat/clean would i have to do it right away after it dies? or can i let it sit? (freezing/refrigerator?)

Is this persons hunting attire common? he’s dressed more formally to hunt than i dress for a wedding. I guess you don’t really need to hide from a squirrel (and it does seem to break up the silhouette pretty well) I wonder if it could take off in the states. We could call it realtweed.

which model of the Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun should i get???? i am going to be using it for home defense and hunting(squirrel, coyotes, deer, birds, etc, probably nothing bigger than a deer). also i would like a nice flashlight and/or scope, but idk which model to buy, i was thinking about the tactical, or persuader/cruiser. I don’t want a wood stock or anything, all synthetic.
if you think i should get the wood, why? and if i do could i put accessories on it?

How can I attract squirrels to me? Are they in season in winter, or are they hibernating? Can you hunt squirrel all year long? I have a squirrel call. My uncle hunts a lot, and said that he would skin and cook it if i shot one. How does squirrel taste? What does it taste like? What do I do after I shoot it? Do I freeze it until I get it skinned? i have a ruger 10/22, and i would like to go small game hunting, like squirrels, rabbits and stuff like that, however i live in pa. and i do not have a bolt, lever or pump action rifle. is there any way that i could make my ruger 10/22legal to hunt with in pa. aka make it bolt action.???

A baby squirrel that I have begun to raise so he may be released in the wild has been eating Whiskas Catmilk/kitten milk for about a week and a half. He looks perfectly normal besides his stools seem a tiny bit soft (but definitely normal colored, along with the urine). Should he be having the Esbialic formula instead? Should I go immediately to the store tomorrow to buy him some to ensure a better chance of survival? He has been eating every two hours. He looks about three to four weeks old, eyes closed. Advice? He is sleeping soundly in a fleece blanket over a heating pad which has temperature control (at a mere 140 degrees at the moment). The squirrel is EXTREMELY active and runs around as much as he possibly can while out of his blanket. What do you suggest?
