Anyone aware of a Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder?

Hello all,

First off I want to explain that I don’t dislike squirrels or anything, but the past few months I’ve noticed the bird feeder in my backyard has been taking over by them. The moment any birds come near the squirrels scare them off. I’ve tried everything from moving it away from fences (so they couldn’t jump from the fence to the feeder), installing a free standing feeder (they just crawl up the tiny pull) and even placing some seeds below (but that just made the squirrels even more greedy). Any suggestions for ways to make both the birds and squirrels happy would be greatly appreciated.

Where can i buy a squirrel baffle?

i need a squirrel baffle – its normally made out of plastic, its cone or dome shaped and its put on top of a squirrel proof bird feeder ..so when the squirrel jumps from the top ..it will slip

but im having a lott of trouble finding the place where i could buy the squirrel baffle from? i live in canada toronto, richmond hill, I have tried home depot, zellers and no1 has a clue where they are ..If i could get many ideas from where i could buy the cone or dome shaped bird feeder roof (squirrel baffle) …it would be awesome :)

squirrel relocation program?

the local squirrels keep emptying my bird feeders and i am starting to feel like bill murray in caddyshack. i really can’t spend $50-100 on a sqirrel-proof feeder. i just like to watch the cute little birds outside my window in the morning- used to be relaxing, but now it’s just aggravating. the furry little things don’t even move when i beat on the window. Any home-remedies?
stop feeding the birds is an answer?! wow.
“If you feed birds, they become dependent, raise too many young, upset the balance, and when you go away, they starve.” really? show the documentation to support this please.
