It shoots a 26 gram .22 pellet about 515 FPS and hits with 15 Ft lbs.
I was thinking like, squirrels, doves, rabbits, oppossums, skunks and maybe a coon. anything else?

in Texas? Would I need a hunting license?
They are chewing on my house & trying to get in in several places. I bought a live trap and baited it with peanut butter & they wont go near it.
Whats a good pellet gun for that & is a scope worth the extra $? Would a pellet penetrate my asphalt shingle roof if I miss?
What else can I do, just let them get into my attic?
Its not public land its my land.

im looking to get a good pellet gun to replace my crossman quest 1000.
id like to get something just as powerful (1000 fps) or possibly better.
me and my friend use it for hunting small game in my backyard like squirrels and birds. im kind getting tired of the iron sight on my quest1000 because i can never seem to keep it zeroed in, so a scope would be cool.
ive always been a fan of crossman but im willing to branch out if you feel theres a better choice.
let me know what you think i should get to replace my quest1000 and continue hunting in my backyard.
Did I mention I’m low on cash? Haha somewhere around 100$
Yeah I guess 100 is a bit unrealistic. What about 200?
I really just wana replace the quest with a newer model. The quest is all rusty.
Also I’d like something that’s one pump or breaking barrel like the quest
i have am looking for a gun that is under 100$ and can take down squirrels rabbits birds and probably opossum
i have check my prohibitive laws and i can
I recently bought a .177 caliber remington airrifle and it works ok at shooting squirrels and birds but it takes atleast 2 shots to kill a chipmunk and atleast 3 to kill a squirrel. I know i’m not shooting it on the wrong places because I shot a squirrel i in the chest a few times and it was still alive. Then I shot a bird and it acted dead but when I went up to it, it just walked away. Couldn’t fly though. I was doing research and someone said “I switched to a .22 caliber pellet gun because it is better to hunt with.” Should I switch to a .22 caliber pellet gun? Will it really make a difference?
alright i just want a straight forward answer. I have a crosman G1 extreme pellet gun. I am using ballistic tipped pellets… they are .177 caliber. can i kill a squirrel in one shot because that was why the gun was bought. We enjoy having birds around so we have 2 or 3 feeders by our back porch that get Absolutely demolished by squirrels. They are probably 4 or 5 squirrels at a time. The only problem is that my dad bought the pellet gun to shoot them when he sees them and finds fit. I have a air soft sniper that well im not gonna lie. Its pretty damn nice. It does about 450 fps. I use .24 precision bbs. I have hit the squirrel everywhere from the head to the tail and they wont die.
So i guess my questions are:
1. will an air soft sniper kill it (p.s im getting metal hunting bbs that are pretty heavy i think .40 grams
( i take the shot anywhere from 7 feet to 20)
also will it require hunting bbs
2. will a pellet gun like that take em out instantly?
sorry for the long questions but theres a lot of detaill.
thanks
