I am a widow and never did any hunting. My grandson went hunting with a neighbor boy and got a squirrel the boys know how to dress the squirrel for eating but,not how to preserve the tail. My grandson wants to keep the tail because it is his first game animal . Thank you any body who answers

i just got a crossman quest 1000x pellet gun and i wanna shoot some rabbits and squirrels…some people say domed some say hollow pellets..which is better?? and are pointed good to?? also what are the best brands price does not matter.
dont leave comments like shooting them is mean!! i will eat the rabbits and the squirrels have cost $1000+ damage to my grandmothers roof!!

I’m looking to get a 20 gauge for hunting and etc, you know pheasants and rabbits, squirrels etc. And I haven’t gotten a new shotgun in awhile and obviously I’m looking for a new one and I’m looking for people’s opinions of the best shotguns that aren’t tactical looking and are more of a classic hunter look. What is a good hunting rifle for small game? What are laws for purchasing guns in Arizona?

My boyfriend reeeeeeeeeally wants a hunting rifle for Christmas. I don’t really want to ask him in too much detail what he wants, because I want it to be a gigantic surprise. He’s mentioned before he wants something mainly for small game [rabbits, squirrels, etc.]. I literally know nothing about guns and or hunting, so a LOT of direction would be helpful. I’ll probably end up buying one at Cabellas or Bass Pro Shops [or maybe even Wal Mart?], but I’m always weary of sales people figuring I have no idea what I’m doing and just selling me whatever.

So basically what are some good guns I could get for under or around $200-$300?

Also, how does buying a gun in Phoenix, Arizona work? I’m 21 and have no criminal background, not even as much as a traffic violation, lol. So I’m imagining I wouldn’t have a ton of issues, but what are the laws as far as gift giving? Like, Obviously I buy it and can do what I want, but am I going to have to register the gun? Or is that something my boyfriend will do once he gets it? How long do background checks usually take? I’m hoping to be able to buy it this weekend and have it when we leave to go spend Christmas with his family in Arkansas next weekend.
