Recently moved here from Nevada. Put out bird feeders. A little critter came out of the woods to eat the spilled seeds. It was reddish brown with stripes down his back. Got a good look cause the deck is only about 8 feet from the ground. I think it was a chipmunk, only about 4 times bigger than any I have ever seen.. I am from Ohio originally. So I know a raccoon, rat, skunk, squirrel even a flying squirrel. If he was a chipmunk, it was the biggest one I have ever seen. Any suggestions?
Fnally got a good picture with the help of my neighbors. took it to the humane society. didn’t know where eles to go.. said it was a badger. thank you for taking the time to answer my question
