Just moved to Allentown, anybody know of any good hunting areas other than jacobsburg?
Hunt mostly deer and squirrel. Any information on this would be great and a big help. Oh and if anybody is interested in a hunting partner let me know.
How much can I farm within between 2-4 acres? (continued) please help.?
This includes– fruit trees and bushes, small grape vine, small herb garden. Two horses, three cows, and a chicken coup. I’m scared it’ll be cramped. I will also hunt this land (deer, rabbit, squirrel) I have a four room house (it doesn’t take up any room–kitchen, bathroom, living room, bed room and a big ‘ol porch:] ) I need some advice. In the next ten years I want to switch to subsistence farming. Please help me. Do I have to buy more land. This is very important to me.

i need help chooding a new rifle…. plz help?
hello, i am tihnking about buying a new rifle for hunting. I will be hunting many different types of small game such as squirrel, rabbit, g-hogs, ect. and i would also like to hunt larger game probably up to just deer for now until i can go bigger gam hunting.
i have a 20 gauge single shot and 16 gauge pump shotgun, and a variety of .22 rifles to use on squirrels, but i don’t know what caliber to get next.
my friend had suggested a 25-06 or .270 how ever i don’t know of this will be bad for the ‘yote pelts. and also i dont want to pay a whole lot of $$$ for ammo, how cheap can i get these calibers???
please suggest a caliber and maybe even a specific rifle
( i don’t want to pay a whole lot for the rifle either) and maybe some good ammo i could use for smaller game, and different ammo for stuff like deer. thank you for your time and help in advance…

i would use the .22′s and shotguns for squirrels and wabbits, i will pretty much use this rifle for groundhogs to deer. therefore would a 25-06 be one of the the best choices?

For the Steelers Fan: I enjoy squirrel gravy as well. I find locating coyotes easy. Their are about 15 of them around my place (458 acres). I dont tend to use traps that often.
Steelers guy, I use a 243 or a 270. Do you like shotguns?
Mossberg 500 question….?
which model of the Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun should i get???? i am going to be using it for home defense and hunting(squirrel, coyotes, deer, birds, etc, probably nothing bigger than a deer). also i would like a nice flashlight and/or scope, but idk which model to buy, i was thinking about the tactical, or persuader/cruiser. I don’t want a wood stock or anything, all synthetic.
if you think i should get the wood, why? and if i do could i put accessories on it?

Something dug two flowering plants out of my garden last night. Left them there,roots intact. There were 2?
nice holes were the plants had been. What kind of animal does this? Have never had it happen before. We do have racoons, possems, foxes, rabbits, deer, squirrels around all the time.
