i’m quite exhausted being a fuss bucket but i have simple complexities.. one is a neighbor who keeps on insisting to throw food out on the front yard at our apartment complex. this is a violation of the lease, city ordinance and animal control always posts notifications about it. you can’t do it but this neighbor keeps on doing it and feels entitled (a common issue where i live, this silly entitlement) and responds in a rather immature and arrogant manner. she’s in her 60s and should know better. we have issues with birds (especially invasive types) coyote, wolf, cougar, raccoon, squirrels of course love the food among other creatures and insects which obtain entry into our buildings and become a pest problem along with being a danger to themselves and to the dwellers.
yes, i’ve consulted the manager endlessly and the tenant in question, no avail. what can i do next other than just be a royal pain and pick up the stuff endlessly?
sure i can call the city but been there, done that… seems the city is operated by slack jaws these days who are only worried about firing people and taking their salaries, building up the city and worrying about why they’ve put themselves and the tax payers into bankruptcy.
i’m exhausted by the arrogance and ignorance and worried about the children and elderly, we’ve had issues with animals quite a few times that this is not just some “busy body” with nothing to keep themselves occupied.
matter of fact i have so much to do but as of today i see yet another neighbor who feels they can just take my time with something they well know and understand that they can’t do.
i can even tape part of the lease on their door highlighting this legality… but you know how much of a waste of time that is and how silly it can become.
i’m also sick of the vermin on my balcony coming around ripping up everything because they’ve just ran out of food and are scurrying for more.
also there’s been so many times where i’ve and others warned neighbors NOT TO FEED the animals and almost every time that neighbor’s had to call animal control because they’ve gotten into trouble with the animal(s) in question.. latest case was a woman feeding a overly friendly raccoon.. only to find out the coon was sick and attacked her later… she called animal control and got into trouble because she was notified beforehand because of neighbors reports.
