Survival Skills – Can pretty much any animal be eaten?
Let’s say I’m stranded in the middle of nowhere. If I can hunt or capture, is the muscle tissue of any animal edible. Leg of Squirrel? Crow wings?
If an exterminator traps a raccoon that he finds in your house, what will he do with it?
Like if you have a raccoon or a squirrel trapped in your chimney, and you get an exterminator to come get it out, would he just release it into the wild, or would he put it down, or would he give it to Animal Control, or what?????? Thanks.
OKay, so they kill it. But specifically what exactly do they DO once they have it in the cage? They just load it back into their pickup truck and go on their way? And where do they kill it? At an Animal Control center or something? And do they kill them one at a time or wait until they have a bunch before killing htem?

How much does it cost to remove raccoon/squirrel from attic?
Hi, How much would a wildlife control contractor charge to set up traps in an attic, remove animal (either raccoon or squirrel, not sure), clean up, and find and seal points of entry?

What is the goofiest thing you just HAD to do before a trip? What’s your story?
About 4 years ago,(had Petey for less than a year) we were heading for a business/fun trip to Europe. Very excited about it; a lot to do to get ready. The evening before the trip, Petey killed his first possum. It was a momma and we felt really badly about the whole thing especially as she had babies in her pouch. We called animal control and my husband talked to the guy who showed up. Animal control doesn’t handle dead animals and my husband didn’t explain about the babies.
Early the next day, I was on the phone trying different rescue groups to see who would take baby possums. I finally found one about 20 miles away (luckily it was the opposite direction of commute traffic). I put the babies in a shoe box with a towel and drove with them meeping all the way til I got to the vet’s office. (Not alot of places do possum rehab.. go figure… turtles, raptors, squirrels even, but possums? No respect)
Drove home, finished the chores, got Petey to the kennel and flew off.
What kind of pet do you have? What’s your favorite animal?
I love pets and animals. I have 8 pets, a cat, 3 sugargliders, 2 fish, a bearded dragon, and a hamster. Otters and Squirrels are my fave animals, so cute and furry.

What can I do to get rid of squirrels?
The squirrels have eaten through my spare car and now my porches roof that isn’t attached to my house but I can spend about $50-$70 to buy a gun with a scope prefferably or some kind of small animal that will eat them all that I don’t need to feed and it can’t be a cat or dog but they have now destroyed my stuff and I’m pissed!!! Now it’s personal! I will not hire a pest control person so don’t suggest it! And no stupid comments!!!
