Do you have a beloved pet that you’ve lost that you miss so much it hurts? Share with me a fun memory and make us both smile?
I had the World Best Dog she was my everything. A Black Lab/Pit Bull named Lady. She had 16 happy, loves and spoiled years of making me smile. I taught her words. Like “Where’s the squirrel?”
She’d high tail it and run the fence growling lookin’ for that squirrel!
And she always entertain me when I said “Lady, get the fly!” She’d pop up here ears and listen, cocking her head back and forth and by golly every time she’d find that fly…she’d hunt that nasty varment down..racing in every room listening for it until she caught.
Awesome dog…I needed that smile!
Your turn to smile…

I had a cat named TC who just died right before this past Christmas. She was 12 years old. We used to play hide and seek together. I would run and hide somewhere in the house and she would come find me. She loved this game! She was really good at it. I sure miss her.

YES!! When my cat was still a kitty we were watching a nature doc. about weasels in the snow.. she sprinted right from the couch on the the tv screen… and dropped to the floor… the look on her face was priceless… She was so confused, she thought she’d actually caught one of the weasels… it took her a while before she was interested in tv again…

My cat Lucky died this past fall, she was 16 and very spoiled. She used to lay on my chest when we went to bed and she would always touch my nose with her nose before she went to sleep. It was like she was giving me kisses.

My cat “Muffin” had 7 toes on each of her front feet, was a long haired Angora, very beautiful. She passed away after 17 years!
The thing that she did that was sooo cute, was when we got our dog, she hated it from the start, and taught the dog real fast to stay away. When Muffin was at her food/water dishes, and the dog came near, she’d hiss, and it got to the point where she obviously got so ticked off about that dog, that she would walk away while hissing with every foot step, like in disgust, til she was in the next room, hiss, hiss, hiss…..

I’ve had so many great pets it’s hard to choose just one story. I will never forget the day I came home to the best greeting a person could ever had. I have the bad habit of being too trusting with my pets- I basically have the food chain living at my house, and I know I should be more carefull about keeping everyone seperated. But one day I walked in the back door, and my chihuahua, 4 cats, and my sun conure all greeted me on the back steps!!! It was the cutest thing in the world with my dog wagging her tail, the cats meowing for food, and the bird in the middle of all of them, squaking his hello with the rest of the crew! It was a moment that will stay in my heart forever.
Another cute moment was when I heard a commotion and here my rat was dragging an entire pizza across the floor!!! My boyfriend was watching a movie and apparently does not believe in TV trays. I can’t imagine what my rat was thinking he was going to do with an entire pizza!!! It was so funny I’m getting tears in my eyes laughing. I had to put him to sleep last month because he got a tumor. He was like a little dog and was my favorite little pet. I even got him cremated. Sniffle Sniff!

well, i’ve had a few, but the most memorable was bowser, a schnauzer. he was a good squirrel chaser also, there was one that would walk along the 6′ high wooden fence and tease him until he jumped up and grabbed it by the tail. he also got into some vaseline once, and projectile pooped on that same fence. he also was good at stealing food. stupid dog, i miss him, he was a sweetie.
