I’ve already been in a Yahoo group, where there was a semi-heated argument brewing (not insulting, but intelligently passionate about their points of view). And half the people who weren’t even involved in the discussion quit the group because there was “too much negativity.” What the fuck? Since when is it “negative” to have a difference of opinion?

I know right? That has got to be my biggest pet-peeve on youtube because it clogs your inbox. Same thing with friends commenting on a photo on facebook. No one cares what they have to say.

Just good that there are some forums where the folks overall respect each other, and not be on it to feel so big and important, and better than all the rest… XD
But it needs a certain connection, like, a series all like, or, art.
Otherwise the jerk ratio is too high.
But I am OK with the folks around me on dA and ASN, and my LJ buddies as well.

this video reminds me of a forum i used to post on, the admins were pricks, abused admin power, and would not allow alternative views on their forum and the second i was gone from the site but out of curiosity checked on the site everyone was dissing me nonstop because i made a few mistakes, which is human to make mistake. oh word of advice everyone if you are thinking of or just joined the forum Vescrutia
