Dead Squirrel. Wow, Dogbert’s a jerk. I always knew that, but seriously, that’s just low.

hmmm… I somewhat get the virtualize part, but I don’t think I completely understand. I know that you can have a virtual server, but not much about it. Can someone explain?

the boss thinks that a virtual server draws no electricity… it’s a nonsense, if you virtualize N servers on a single machine, each server has N times less performance…

Virtual servers allows for low memory content to be temporarily placed on a server which has enough memory to spare.
It organizes things things that are still pending to be placed on a permanent server while others can still get the data. It saves money by lowering stress on the larger servers but you’ll have to put up a new server to begin with, which is WAY too much work.

  22. The print version of “Need to Virtualize” has been on more than one office where I work. Of course, working at a huge software company tends to inspire such strips.
